Wednesday Meeting, 2017 09 20

The meeting started around 14:00. We discussed a potential release of Semigroups (3.1) which should include Chris's work on E-unitary inverse semigroups and Wilf's work on direct products, and potentially will include Finn's translations code (if the PR is completed in time).
We then discussed what we have been/are working on:
- Luke Elliott -- Finishing up a Digraphs PR for Hamiltonian Cycles, and working on 2-edge connectivity in Digraphs
- Fernando Flores Brito -- Learning HTML for writing Semigroups webpages
- Alex Levine -- Working with Luke
- James Mitchell -- Working with Chris on counting RMS, and with Finn on orbits in libsemigroups
- Chris Russell -- Working with James on counting RMS
- Finn Smith -- Finishing PR on translations, thinking about implementing orbits in libsemigroups
- Michael Torpey -- Working on creating digraphs for lattices of congruences, had a recent breakthrough re. GAP type system
- Wilf Wilson -- Writing up a proof of the validity of his direct products PR
At around 14:25, Chris and James went to work in James's office. Simon also left at this time.
We had a brief conversation about the ability to read without speaking, which is apparently a comparatively recent development.
Chris and James returned at 16:00, and Alex appeared at 16:10. James then started working with Finn on implementing orbits in libsemigroups.
Wilf left at 17:00, and others trickled out after. The meeting ended at 17:40.
