install_splunk

Install Splunk on a fresh system

PORS will install any splunk enterprise release version you like.

1. Ensure you properly set all yml files according to Configuration)
2. start PORS and select "Upgrade" (we won't upgrade but need the sub-menu to download splunk)
3. select "Download" and follow the instructions to download and stage your wanted splunk release
4. go back to the main menu and select "Install (splunk)"
5. select or multi-select any target group where you want to install splunk to
6. lean back and enjoy ;)

This PORS action will:

• install splunk - just that.

This PORS action will not:

• configure splunk. For this go on with: Configure Splunk
