- Both empowered and cursed with a near-inpenetrable suit of shape-shifting, enigmatic armor, The Encased makes use of devastating combos and brutal tactics to subjugate his opponents. The armor takes its toll though, and drains the wearer's health constantly.

- Thrash: Spend 1 HP to play an attack, a card with Thrash or a card with Violent in your draw pile. The health cost increases by 1 for each additional Thrash in the same turn and resets at the start of your turn
- Violent: Can be played by Thrash, regardless of card type. If played by thrash, continues the thrash chain
- Rearm: Choose a card in your discard pile. Shuffle it into your draw pile
- Flay: On taking losing HP from any source, lose HP equal to flay stacks. Every 3 times flay is triggered, add a flay stack to EVERYONE with flay.
- Forgo: Discard a card to trigger its Forgo effect
