Tuepy allows you to download and play youtube videos. Like all of the online video downloaders, except written in python3, terminal based, not hosted on a shady website that you have to trust is giving you what you are asking for, and open source. If youtube wants to stop users from using ad-blockers then might as well just download the videos and watch them for your personal enjoyment. Bypassing the ads completely.
What you download and what you do with the video after downloading is completely on you. I am not to be held liable or responsible for the content people/you download using this code and the "yt_dlp" package.

virtualenv tpyENV
source tpyENV
pip install -r requirements.txt
If you don't have
virtualenvyou can install it via pip.pip install virtualenv.
You will also need vlc or mpv installed in order to play videos.
If you are using linux, you can install one or both using your package manager or software installer.
