William has been an avid computer programmer, then professional software engineer since 1984 (yes, he still looks young for his age and experience). When not writing code for employers like IBM, Intel, eBay, McAfee, and FICO -- among others -- he works on myriad Open Source projects. His own OSS projects are conceived specifically to simplify otherwise complex problems. A master generalist, William's contributions are in myriad programming languages.

William is a full-time employee, husband, and father of two young children. As such, his availability to OSS projects is scarce. By sponsoring any of his projects, you will indicate where he must prioritize his free time and attention.
