Hi there -- I'm James and I try to work on interesting things. I like thinking about distributed systems and enjoy making tools to help developers do things easier and faster, mostly in C#. A good example of this is my FlatSharp project, which is a C#-focused implementation of Google's FlatBuffers API. FlatSharp exposes an API that manages to be idiomatic and also really fast.

I'm also interested in things like Raft, Kafka, and most distributed systems problems.
