swayfx 0.3.2, based on sway 1.8.1
I haven't updated my system a month ago though

Nvm, that was an issue on the Nixpkgs side. Applied your patch on Sway 1.9 with Keyd 2.4.3 and it's working flawlessly. Thank you very much! <3

No idea when this is gonna be merged, so for fellow NixOS users here is an overlay that applies this patch.
