My talk at the Linux Day 2018, Università di Tor Vergata, Rome.
My talk deals, both from a theoretical and from a practical point of view, with the most recent approaches to the generation of timestamps through the blockchain, following an implementation-agnostic approach. A working example will also be presented, the TimestamPy project, based on the OpenTimestamps API and on the inotify Linux system calls.
L'intervento affronta, dal punto di vista teorico e da quello pratico, gli approcci più recenti alla generazione di marche temporali tramite blockchain, ed in particolare i tentativi di astrarre da una implementazione specifica. Si presenterà anche un working example, il prototipo TimestamPy, basato sul progetto OpenTimestamps e sulle system call inotify del kernel Linux.
