Google Maps Coordinate Copier

Version 1.0: The Mysterious Affair At Styles

What is included in this release?

  • The ability to find embedded Google Maps on webpages, display them to a user, and give the user an option to copy them to their clipboard:

  • A fun "Windows 10 Blue Screen of Death" themed error message when a user tries to use the extension on a page that does not have an embedded Google Map

Why is it called "The Mysterious Affair At Styles"?

As you can imagine, I asked ChatGPT what it should be called, and it had no fun whatsoever with the question:

And since the name was "ultimately" me, and it is the first release, I decided to have some fun with it and name it after Agatha Christie's first Hercule Poirot novel, The Mysterious Affair At Styles.

According to Wikipedia there are a grand total of 47 Hercule Poirot books, and seeing as this is a rather simple browser extension, I don't believe it will have more than 47 versions, and therefore intend to keep this naming scheme going for the entirety of this project's life.
