A Windows / Linux password manager inspired by zx2c4 password-store

Why?

Bring the great ideas of zx2c4 password-store to Windows and improve the recipe.

Installation

Windows

• Have Git installed
• Have GnuPG for Windows installed
• Have .NET 8 installed
• Go to the Release section

Linux (Work in progress)

• Have .NET 8 installed (Check AUR on Arch)
• Go to the Release section

Get started

• Make sure you've created or imported your GPG keypair
• Make sure you have a private remote git repository created (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
• Make sure you have authenticated to that remote git repository (SSH, GPG, GitHub CLI, etc.)

GUI

• Follow the instruction upon starting the application

CLI

• Run horus init and follow the instructions (CLI)

Update

GUI

The application will update itself automatically, unless you're using the "portable" version.

CLI

The application will tell you when there's a new update. You can then navigate to the Release section and download the latest update.

Usage

The application interface should be pretty self explanatory.

CLI

You can execute the command horus help or navigate to the commands' page to have all the information about how the application works and what commands are available
