PHM Demo Process and Rules Tracing

Example tracing or auditing of rules and processes with event listeners.

All events are logged to the console.

Some agenda events are posted to Kafka topic PHM-Audit.

Rum mvn clean package and install the jar file in the Kie Server class path.

Add kafka-clients-<kafka version>.jar to the class path as well.

Add the following classes to the business automation project deployment descriptor kie-deployment-descriptor.xml as in this example:

    <event-listeners>
        <event-listener>
            <resolver>mvel</resolver>
            <identifier>new com.health_insurance.tracing.PHMProcessEventListener()</identifier>
            <parameters/>
        </event-listener>
    </event-listeners>
    <task-event-listeners>
        <task-event-listener>
            <resolver>mvel</resolver>
            <identifier>new com.health_insurance.tracing.PHMTaskLifeCycleEventListener()</identifier>
            <parameters/>
        </task-event-listener>
    </task-event-listeners>

Add the following classes to the kmodule.xml as in this example:

<kmodule xmlns="http://www.drools.org/xsd/kmodule" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
  <kbase name="phm" default="true" eventProcessingMode="cloud" equalsBehavior="identity">
    <ksession name="phm" type="stateless" default="true" clockType="realtime">
      <listeners>
          <ruleRuntimeEventListener type="com.health_insurance.tracing.PHMRuleRuntimeEventListener"/>
          <agendaEventListener type="com.health_insurance.tracing.PHMAgendaEventListener"/>
      </listeners>
  </ksession>
</kbase>
</kmodule>
