Spring Boot app with Thymeleaf on Google App Engine

Minimal Spring Boot app with Thymeleaf templates ready for deployment on Google App Engine standard environment.

run locally on 8080 port

$ ./gradlew bootRun

build executable jar

$ ./gradlew bootJar

run executable jar

$ java -jar build/libs/gae-spring-boot-thymeleaf-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar

deploy on GAE in DEMO project

$ ./gradlew appengineDeploy -DGAE_PROJECT_ID=DEMO

Warning

The first service in a new application must be the 'default' service. If you run this demo on "fresh" GAE application, please change gae-spring-boot-thymeleaf to default in app.yaml file
