Setting -x- makes sure that any xoptions file in the CWD is ignored. Use this option together with -p and -n.
(The xoptions file was introduced to make the taggerXML command line options backwards compatible with Brill's original tagger.)

taggerXML.exe is for Windows (64 bit)
tagger is for Linux (64 bit)
