It seems dog is currently unmaintained:
ogham/dog#97

As doggo is based on dog, perhaps it is a valid successor for this list.

You may be interested in q which is a bit more featureful (comparison table to DNS tools: dog, doggo, dig, drill).

However the UX of the results output could do with improvement (EDIT: Partly been addressed, but not yet released).

You should consider q, while not the most friendly name to search for (or perhaps remember), they addressed all the feedback I raised with a new release. It's probably a more capable alternative. q has more to offer IIRC, but both are alright 👍


Your fork has no issues available, which will limit the usefulness of attracting community I think?

I was going to raise an issue there for you to consider jaq over jq, yq is also a nice alternative if you need YAML equivalent support.

btop tends to be nicer than bottom / btm last I checked too.
