Dependencies

  • Need Design team (content team) to create helpfiles
    • Need to determine list of what pages need instructions

Overview

UXR team needs to conduct a usability testing on the helpfile guidelines/instructions created by dev team that will be given to LADOT at the conclusion of HfLAs work on this project. The testing should include reviewing the Helpfile guides for:

  • Security
  • About
  • FAQ
  • Submit snapshot for review form
  • My Projects - Admin view
  • Feedback

Action Items

  • Create Research Plan
    • Get Research Plan approved by PMs
  • Create Questions for the user testing
    • Run proposed User Testing questions by PMs
  • User Test
    • Conduct UXR Team Training
    • Recruit Interviewees
    • Schedule Interviews
    • Conduct Interviews
  • Data Analysis
  • Provide Feedback
  • Wiki Documentation

Required Info in the Helpfiles:

  • Name of page and what it does/its purpose
  • More info for LADOT staff that tells them what everything does when submitting/clicking through the page
  • What is the result of submitting/clicking through something
  • if the page has an admin interface for changing content, how it works.
