Is the change for DE0 board necessary for getting DE10 to work? |
No it is not. I just noticed in the signal mappings for serial and the
instructions I read did not match the pins. I moved the signals back to the
2x13 header are originally documented.
You can leave that change out if you want the default RS232 signals on the
2x20 GPIO pin headers.
I will working on adding mappings for the GPIO to the Arduino headers and
updating the Arduino add-in. I will send that along in another pull request
when I am done.
Does the RISC-V work? I am in the middle of exploring it right now.
Thanks,
JohnR

Hi, I have RISC-V working on the DE10-Nano.
I have also mapped the Arduino headers on the DE10-Nano to allow use of
Arduino shields.
I have also re-configured the project to use a common include for the
signals, and you can now select various FPGA builds for both MIPS + RISCV
with 32k, 64k, 128k, or 512k BRAM options as the FPGA on the DE10-Nano has
5+ MB of block rams.
I will send a separate pull request when I get the Arduino integration
changes done.

I have the Terasic DE10-Nano working with Arduino blink and serial I/O.
A future pull request will contain mappings for the DE10-Nano on board Arduino headers. Right now I left the mappings to the switches and LED's.
