Pre-built Raspberry Pi image; powered by Faux86. Ready to be played out of the box.
SD card size is fixed to 32mb and CAN'T be resized. If you need more storage consider using and external mass storage.

Features version 1.25

  • PATH All executables included into floppy drive are in PATH.
  • C:\AUTOEXEC.BAT you can easly edit it using edit.
  • KEYBOARD.SYS Missing layout definition.

Installation

  1. Download the right version for your hardware or F86-DOS_1.25_universal.img if you don't care having 300kb free.
  2. Burn image into your SD drive using Win32DiskImager or Balena Etcher.
  3. Boot up your Raspberry PI.
  4. You can now move your file into your SD or into an external mass storage.

Partition scheme

  • A:\ F86-DOS ro boot floppy drive.
  • C:\ SD card; system file, kernel, etc, files are hidden to make partition easier to be browsed.
  • D:\ Any attached mass storage device.

Raspberry Pi 4 and PI 400 are not officially supported but unofficially they are; here you can find a pre-built but untested image check README.md for more.
