This is an early and incomplete build of Cobalt, with a basic installer that only works from a CD (USB booting is broken). It has been tested to boot and install correctly in VirtualBox v6.1.

Features:

  • FreeDOS Kernel Build 2040 (the same version in FreeDOS v1.1) and FreeCom 0.85a command line
  • DOS Navigator 2.14 for mouse-driven interface
  • Basic drivers including Jemm (for memory management), CuteMouse (for mice), UDVD2 (for CD/DVD drives), and FDAPM (for power management)
