Polymerse is a social education app on the Android platform that connects people who are learning a new language with those who are doing the same, fostering face-to-face mutual learning through language immersion.

We plan on improving the Polymerse experience by implementing key features in the near future:
- Video chat for users connecting remotely
- Metrics tracking each user's progress towards fluency
- A reward system for exemplary Polymerse members
- An improved and more dynamic Explore page offering more points for user interaction.

- Firebase - Used as Database and Messenger manager
- Picasso - An image downloading and caching library for Android
- RetroFit - Type-safe HTTP client for Android and Java by Square, Inc.
