Installing SageBot

Requirements

List of Requirements

• Python 3.5.1 or Higher
• Discord.py

Installing Requirements

1. Download and install Python 3.5.1 or higher from [https://www.python.org/downloads/]
2. Open powershell or your chosen terminal program and run the following command pip install git+https://github.com/Rapptz/discord.py@async

Using SageBot

Configuring SageBot

1. Open config.ini and enter the login details you want SageBot to use for Discord

Launching SageBot

You can run SageBot by running the bat file Run SageBot.bat found in the directory the bot is in

Adding image posting commands to SageBot

Currently, SageBot only supports adding random image commands. This will be extended in the future. To add a new command to SageBot, place a txt file in the commands subdirectory containing a list of nothing but direct links to the images you want to be randomly chosen from when the command is run.
