SimpleElastix is a fork of SimpleITK that integrates elastix and transformix. If you are not familiar with SimpleITK it is a simplified layer built on top of ITK that makes it dead simple to call from other languages, e.g. Python, Java and R. The goal of SimpleElastix is to bring robust registration algorithms to a wider audience and make it easier to use elastix for e.g. Java-based enterprise applications or rapid Python prototyping. This package will hopefully lower the entry barrier for new elastix users and be a useful alternative to scripting commandline arguments in larger projects. If you experience any issues using SimpleElastix, pull requests and issues are greatly appreciated.
Providing good documentation is a significant undertaking that has not begun yet as SimpleElastix is still being developed. If you are interested in contributing to the documentation you are most welcome to write an email at [email protected].
