  • New with this release: Updated IOSkywalkFamily.kext which is working with my BCM94360NG on my 7800X3D build up to Sonoma 14.4.1

From the original OC 0.9.9 release:

  • Update to OC 0.9.9 (the official version, not the modded)
  • Updated Kexts: AMFIPass, RestrictEvents, Lilu, AppleALC, VirtualSMC, Whatevergreen
  • Removed EnableForAll tags that is for the modded OC version only

OC 0.9.5 / macOS Sonoma Update

This release is specifically made for macOS Sonoma and to get Wifi working. It probably works on older macOS too, but I can't guarantee this.

Short version:

  • Install macOS Sonoma using the Full Installer.
  • Disable SecureBoot in BIOS and set SecureBootModel=Disabled, DMGLoading=Any
  • Run the OCLP Patcher and install the Post-Install Root Patches
  • Enable SecureBoot in BIOS and set SecureBootModel=j185f (iMac20,2) or j137 (iMacPro1,1) and DMGLoading=Signed

Changes

  • OC 0.9.5 Mod Edition
  • Kext Updates: Lilu, WEG, AppleALC, VirtualSMC
  • added bootarg: revpatch=sbvmm to get the newest macOS Updates

To get Broadcom Wifi working in Sonoma:

Additional Kexts: IO80211FamilyLegacy.kext, IOSkywalkFamily.kext, AMFIPass.kext. Also these Kexts in a very high priority after Lilu and VirtualSMC.
Blocking Kexts: com.apple.iokit.IOSkywalkFamily
Bootarg: -amfipassbeta
csr-active-config = <03080000>

Hi guys,

happy to share the OC 0.9.2 EFI with you.

With updated main kexts Lilu, Whatevergreen, AppleALC and VirtualSMC.

I have set DisableIOMapper and DisableIOMapperMapping to Enabled.

If you have Ethernet/Wifi Issues, try different variations of DisableIOMapper and DisableIOMapperMapping.

  • Removed SSDT-Disable-CNVW.aml as it was not loaded anyways
  • Removed SSDT-I225V.aml as it is not required. dk.e1000=0 (Big Sur) or e1000=0 (Monterey and Ventura) and the AppleIntelI210Ethernet.kext (Ventura) should be enough
