After my apprenticeship at the BiCT AG as a software developer, I stayed for about 1.5 years. In that time I was working on a self-hosted kubernetes cluster with a colleague of mine. We built that thing from the ground up and kept it alive. Next to that we taught apprentices how the computer and the internet works, we taught them how to code and we did assessments with them. Whenever we had some free time at work, we tried to help the IT-apprentices develop new microservices for said cluster.
Next to work I also started studying Computer Science at the BFH (Berner Fachhochschule).
As of today, I am working for another company called whatwedo GmbH. For this job I write PHP-Code as well as helping them improve their docker-based CI/CD-System. This allows me to learn a lot more about web applications (built with symfony) and automated processes such as service deployments via docker.
By 2023 (in my 5th semester) I decided to stop studying and focus my time on work and myself.
