Philosopher has no special configuration requirements.
Only 500 MB base RAM is needed to run Philosopher, but more memory is required as the size and complexity of the analysis increases. For small-scale analyses, 4 to 8 GB should be sufficient, while experiments with very large numbers of spectral files may require 32 GB RAM or more.
Philosopher scales and performs well for many different experiments and system architectures.
