This repository serves as a short guide to

  • acquire data with a UAV and
  • process data via Structure-from-Motion (SfM)

Aim of the workshop (01.03.2023)

  • Get to know what kind of equipment for different UAV systems is needed
  • Get to know how to plan and perform a UAV flight
  • Get to know how to use a GNSS receiver to acquire Ground Control Points (GCPs)
  • Acquire own data with an UAV.

Exercises for flight planning and data acquisition

  1. Check if the equipment ist comprehensive
  2. Prepare the UAV for takeoff
  3. Plan the flight route
  4. Perform the UAV fligth
  5. Landing UAV and take care of the data
  6. Acquire GCPs with the GNSS
  7. Clean up
