I went back to Rayon because even though it's not streaming, it works about twice as fast and doesn't feel as janky. It's also a much simpler design. That said, I learned a lot of really good things from my experiments with Iced subscriptions and parallel stream processing, so I left the old code in thumbnails.rs, just unused.
