Installation

This is a tutorial about the installation of Negativity.

Requirements

Download the latest Negativity version (Free (v1) | Premium (v2)).

The same jar is used for ALL platforms. You just have to copy/paste the same file. (except Sponge 7 for v2)

Don't forget config instruction or proxy config instruction

Install on Spigot (or fork like Paper/Purpur/...)

Put the jar on the plugins folder. Restart the server. The folder plugins/Negativity should appear, with all config files.

Install on Minestom

Put the jar on the extensions folder. Restart the server. The folder extensions/Negativity should appear, with all config files.

Install on Fabric

Important: please, follow instructions.

As ViaVersion, you need a second plugin which correspond to your fabric version. Actually, you need to choose latest build here then download for your version. In the futur, they will be available on curseforge.

Then, put the Negativity jar AND the NegativityFabric jar on mods folder. Restart the server. The folder config/Negativity should appear, with all config files.

Install on Sponge 7

1. Download file here

2. Put the jar on the mods folder.

3. Restart the server. The folder config/Negativity should appear, with all config files.

Install on Sponge 8 & 9

Put the jar on the mods folder. Restart the server. The folder config/Negativity should appear, with all config files.

Install on Bungeecord

1. Put the jar on the plugins folder of your bungeecord

2. Restart the server. The folder plugins/BungeeNegativity should appear, with all config files.

3. Now, go all all connected servers which have to detect cheat and, for all of them, follow Spigot installation or Sponge installation. For servers where you don't want to detect cheater, you can just ignore it.

Install on Velocity

1. Put the jar on the plugins folder.

2. Restart the server. The folder plugins/Negativity should appear, with all config files.

3. Now, go all all connected servers which have to detect cheat and, for all of them, follow Spigot installation or Sponge installation. For servers where you don't want to detect cheater, you can just ignore it.

Proxy configuration instructions

To show alert, people need the permission negativity.alert by default (you can change it in config (wiki of permissions)). You can config it with plugin like LuckPerms

Negativity has a ban system. To use it, you have to set processor: "proxy" on the configuration of all connected server of your proxy. Then, you will be able to config it such as explain in the ban wiki

Configuration instructions

By default, you will create alert without kick/cancellation of your cheat. To manage of all them, you can check the config wiki.

For ban, if you are on proxy, you have to set processor: "proxy". Else, you have to check the ban wiki

Finally, you can check permission to manage player, change config or just see alert in the permissions wiki
