#Queue-Map Queue-Map is a collection of scripts which will generate a web page for visualizing certain Queues which are managed by the Univa Grid Engine. The two main queues targeted currently are the Long Queue (of general_access host-group) and the Debug Queue at the Center for Research Computing for the University of Notre Dame. There is an example of this currently running in beta form at: 10.32.11.105. This can be accessed if you are on the ND-Secure network (whether that be directly connected OR VPN connected). As of v1.0 there is a new filter able to be viewed for each available Queue/hostgroup which can be seen at the Memory-View page.

####Why was this created? This small visualization was created in an effort to better the user experience at the CRC. As the UGE does not provide any easy tools to view the status of the Queues and Clusters, this is an attempt to give some insight into the current situation. Queue-Map 'maps' out the queues for you in respect to the cores. Additional support for the front ends and memory usage is currently being considered. Also see uge_check.py for another way to view queue information and a lot of other information for the UGE.
