Swahili Foods
A web application for equisite Swahili recipes.
Swahili Foods, a Recipe website which brings you a taste from the coast. From Swahili dishes, such as mahambri and chapati, to non traditional dishes, like chow mein, and jerk chicken. You’ll always find a plate that can come from our table to yours! From international foods to dessert and drinks, you’ll always find something easy and fun to cook!
In this project we embarked on creating a web application specifically designed for the Swahili cuisine. The application contains unique and easy to implement recipes, and what's more? You can subscribe to the latest news/recipes. It is easy to use and has a great UI

- BOOTSTRAP -Developing responsive web pages.
- JS- To make web pages interactive.
- CSS- Defining the styles for web pages

If you would like to install and run this project locally, first clone this repository as follows:
From your terminal:
git clone https://github.com/Clemo97/group-project.git
Once the program has been cloned, run this on your terminal
cd group-project
Depending on your code editor,run this on your terminal
VS Code
code .
Atom
atom .
Next, download the latest dependencies for jQuery, and Bootstrap consequently:

There are no known bugs at the moment.
Future work on this project includes but is not limited to the following:
- Add a fully functional order section.
- Implementing backend logic and database.
- Add a chef area.
- Add Content Management System to make entry of recipes quick.
- Verified chef’s being able to post recipes.
