Description
This PR replaces the
getattr(cls_or_func, "__annotations__", {})
in #L334 with a helper functiontyping.get_type_hints(cls_or_func, include_extras=True)
to correctly evaluate the type back from its string form. The flaginclude_extras
is set toTrue
to correctly deal with theAnnotated
type. For Python version older than 3.9,typing.get_type_hints()
doesn't have this flag.It is a solution to (#35538).
