App Web Offline Web App Viewer

The Android Offline AppWeb Viewer is published as Android App in Google Play Store.

This App Web Viewer is build using App Web Component available at Xamarin Component Store

App Web Runtime

This repository contains the MIT Licensed App Web Runtime/Viewer built using App Web Component available in Xamarin Component Store, which can be used to view Static/Dynamic (Ajax) based web apps offline in the Mobile Device

It is part of toolkit for developing decentralised Portable Apps. Portable Apps are Apps (UI, Data, File and Interaction) which are decentralized and can be redeployed from one run time environment to another run time environment

Also contains a MIT License C#/Html Secure AppWeb example showing the usage of embedded micro services accessing a sqlite database

AppWeb Runtimes can be built using Cross Platform AppWeb Components using Xamarin Tools

  1. View any Html5 Web App (portable AppWebs) using AppWeb Runtime
  2. Build and publish your own WebApp Runtime using Xamarin Tools
  3. Upgrade incrementally from Html5 App Page(s) to Native App Screen(s)

Roadmap

  1. Publish Additional AppWebs and AppWeb Runtimes demonstranting Access to Database, File System and Device Features
  2. Publish Lua based AppWebs (Portable Apps) and Runtime for creating Mobile Native Apps

Prerequisites

  1. Xamarin.IOS and Xamarin.Android License to build your own AppWeb Runtime(s)
  2. Visual Studio, Mono Develop or Sharp Develop to build your own Html AppWebs. The HTML AppWebs can be packaged into IOS/Android Native Apps using the OneClickMobile Packager.

Installation

  1. Install your prefered IDE (Visual Studio, Mono Develop or Sharp Develop)
  2. Use Git to checkout the OneClickAppWeb Repository or download from the Xamarin component store
  3. Open the OneClickAppWeb.sln file or the respective Android/IOS/Web project file using Xamarin Tools to compile and create the sample Native Mobile App.
