Description

Equalizer settings on GrapheneOS are only applied for the currently playing track.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable any equalizer preset
  2. Change track
  3. The preset is off until you reopen the equalizer

Expected Behavior

The equalizer working without having to reopen it with every track change / app restart.

Device

  • OS: GrapheneOS, Android 13

Additional Context

Testing with the stock AOSP equalizer MusicFX which is shipped in GrapheneOS, the Metro player for example works as expected, while Symphony has the aforementioned issue.
Testing with the stock equalizer in LineageOS, AudioFX, both Metro and Symphony work as expected.
Then I installed AudioFX in GrapheneOS, and while Metro works as expected, Symphony doesn't recognize any of its settings at all, not even for the currently playing track (regardless of whether or not MusicFX is disabled).
