This might have to do with resolution of the camera, I am not sure. I don't have an iPhone 7 to test this here, sorry.

@zweigraf It is exactly the problem.
If you add session.sessionPreset = AVCaptureSessionPreset1280x720 just before the session.commitConfiguration() in the SessionHandler.swift it will fix the issue.
