Error: Got unexpected extra arguments

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Kicad 6 and I've been having problems getting Kikit to work. I've still got Kicad V5.1 and Kikit running in Docker installed and that may be my issue but I would prefer to keep them both around for the moment. I'm running on Windows 10.

I initially installed Kikit via the plugin Manager. No errors were raised but I didn't get the Kikit option in PCB Editor -> Tools -> External Plugins.

I then went down the Kicad 6.0 Command Interface route and did the standard pip install kikit and that worked fine. kikit --version gives 1.0.4.

Going back to the PCB Editor and Tools -> External Plugins -> Kikit Panelize PCB appears and works successfully and I was able to generate panelized boards this way. Unfortunately, it is limited and I needed additional functionality for what I want to do. Back to the command line.

I'm sure I am doing something really silly here but I can't get this simple panel to work. Help would be appreciated.

I've downgraded to kikit version 1.0.2 and 1.0.0 as a test and get the same result.

On Windows, you have to use double quotes instead of single ones otherwise shell interprets the semicolons.

Your filename contains spaces. Spaces serve in CMD and PowerShell to delimit individual parameters. Enclose the file path into quotes.
