May I help get v3 published, sponsor, or otherwise contribute?

This is a very nice tool that I'd like to see maintained.

v3 has some nice features, but our IT department has said that since it is an 'alpha' release, we shouldn't use it.

I'd like to help sponsor or contribute to this project, at least to help release v3.

@mesner @oleg-nenashev winsw is one of my favorite tools and I'd like to see it continuesly maintained - I'm really willing to help with. Do you know if there's any plan to move this product forward? If not, is adding a few community maintainers to this project an option?

Should probably be careful with this given the recent XZ Utils / liblzma incident.
