Hi,
i used the following command to request certificates and auto install them into my Exchange 2019 (fresh install). The Cert is available and works for my IIS, but while checking the certificate, i noticed, that i cannot activate it as my smtp certificate.
I changed the command to not install it for IMAP or POP because i have read, that this does not work with wildcards that well.
I put a space in the command host names, cause it was cursive. In the command i ran, there were no spaces between.
Command:
wacs.exe --target manual --host *.domain.com, *.mail.domain.com, domain.com --certificatestore My --acl-fullcontrol "network service,administrators" --installation iis,script --installationsiteid 1 --script "./Scripts/ImportExchange.ps1" --scriptparameters "'{CertThumbprint}' 'IIS,SMTP' 1 '{CacheFile}' '{CachePassword}' '{CertFriendlyName}'" --validation cloudflare --cloudflareapitoken ---------------- < my cloudflare key
The Certificate was installed but i can only IIS is selected. Even if i select SMTP in the ECP i does not save the changes.
Have i missed a step or done something worng?
