Vulkano versions of Sascha Willems' Vulkan examples?

Sascha Willems has a repository with many useful Vulkan examples here: https://github.com/SaschaWillems/Vulkan. They are written in C++ and use the bare Vulkan API for the most part. Would it be useful for some (or maybe even all, eventually) of these examples to be ported over to Vulkano?

You should pick one example you fancy; convert it to Rust; and report your results. Details of the experience will help others and hopefully inspire people to convert others (maybe all) examples.
