Describe the feature or the problem it solves
Hello. Is it possible to make the camera preview larger? To the screen width in 1:1 format. This would help with exposure assessment. Parameters could be set more precisely. It is good app.Regards from Poland 😉

Camera preview in the app represents the metering area and cropping camera preview to any other dimensions won't affect the metering results. This can be confusing, when there is a bright light source inside the actual camera view, but outside the cropped one.

Hello.
I see. That's true. But you can add image aspect ratio selection options. Every phone camera has this option. Maybe this will be a good solution? I take photos in the 6x6 format, which is a popular format in analog photography. So I need light measurement for the 1:1 ratio :) but more importantly, there should be a larger preview from the camera. There are plenty of spaces to do this. Your app has an advantage over others because you can change EV and see the correction immediately. And this is great.

On my Pixel 6 taking square photos is not even an option, for example. I can crop the camera preview to a desired aspect ratio, but photos will still be in 4:3 and with the same EXIF. It doesn't seem to me as a good idea.
