Hey, nice program do you have

I'd like to give my feedback on query editor, which is fantastic!

It won't let me use Ctrl key to be able to skip words neither forwards nor backwards. It'll just make my cursor idle. I'd like to take a look at it

I'm glad you like it. Unfortunately I don't have time anymore to continue maintaining the project, but I'll be happy to merge any future PR with bug fixes

What should I do, fork it and develop to dev branch or just opening a new branch should be fine? Pls let me know

A new branch started from master is the way to go. Let me know if you have any questions about the codebase. I'll do my best to try and help, but can't promise quick replies due to lack of time. Good luck!
