Move public/ inside src/

Why is the public/ folder outside the src/ folder ? That seems odd to me, also this is different from most other opinionated "hierarchy" I know. For example, Nuxt.

To me, this makes more sense since the files are copied into dist/ at build time.

Oh I had to set publicDir: './src/public/',.
Sometime it's hard if something is from Vituum or Vite.
Vituum work with directory at the root or inside a src/ folder, so maybe Vituum should infer the publicDir path ?
