Wrong NIC in the speed of data

Hi,
in the "status line" (the lower line in hyper) I can't change the interface used (eth or wlan or tun) to monitor the speed of the data: where I can find the right nic used?
It seems that is used the wlan (the icon is an antenna with radio waves), but the speed is always 0kB/s.
