Hello, I’ve not (yet) upgraded to BS5 but I suspect the issue may replicate for both BS4 (ref) and BS5 (ref) because both use the same Popper which received the last update about six years ago.
Given this HTML of an <em> with embedded <strong> element
<p>A bit of <emtitle="em" data-toggle="tooltip"><strongtitle="strong" data-toggle="tooltip">strong emphasized</strong></em> text.</p>
I have the mild suspicion that this isn’t really a BS problem but more of a Popper issue? Does anybody have any recommendations on how to handle these overlapping tooltips — other than explicitly setting the data-placement attribute? (That won’t work well because the elements are generated on the fly and with resizing windows even manual placement can create overlapping tooltips.)
