Error while parsing, (ERROR [0, 0] - [1, 1])

I kept getting the following error while following the document here.

I am stuck with the command tree-sitter parse example-file. Any idea? 😕

I assumed the content of the file should be hello?

Yeah, that's right. From the output, it doesn't look like the file contains just hello, but I might be missing something.

Could you run tree-sitter parse example-file --debug?

skip_unrecognized_character

It looks like the file is encoded as UTF16, but the CLI is expecting files to be UTF8-encoded. I'm guessing you're on windows?

In the future, I'd like the CLI to infer the encoding and handle the UTF16. Sorry about the confusing behavior.
