While the OPTION to do so during the installation process would be great (why not), automating this without having a say what branch I want to create is not. For example, I don't use "main" as my main branch. I use "dev". I would welcome an option like this where I can choose the default branch such as this: ❯ npx create-tina-app@latest
✔ Which package manager would you like to use? › Yarn
✔ What is your project named? … tailwind-starter
✔ What starter code would you like to use? › ⭐ Tailwind Starter
✔ Which branch should the initial code be committed to? (main) › dev
Downloading files from repo tinacms/tina-cloud-starter. This might take a moment.
Installing packages. This might take a couple of minutes. |

✅ Auto git init - Is a great idea! As mentioned above a option to select the base branch would be something that would probably be required. |

I ran
create-tina-app
and was surprised that git wasn't initialsed and the initial commit wasn't done automatically.Given that tina's big selling point, that content is stored in git, I found this to be a big omission.
When I create a new Angular app, git initialisation is done, and the initial commit is made automatically.
