[RESOLVED] Compiling issues SKR 1.4

Ok I am running a SKR1.4 Turbo and I just blew something with the part cooling fan so it runs full speed.
I am only able to get my hands on a SKR 1.4 so I have decided to use your farmwear here. I used one of Chris Warkocki's old videos I used before to make the needed changes in Config.h and when I try and compile I get these errors in folders I did not touch.

Chris’ videos are outdated and don’t apply to this firmware.

You only need to enable options for your hardware in Prusa_AIO_Configuration.h as explained in the readme.

No other files need to be edited.

Ok so just change my board and add the second Z Stepper? Sorry I'm still new to VS code and only messed with it to get a SKR bear up and running that I picked up. I have not messed with it in 2 years.

This firmware assumes you have five drivers installed on boards that support five drivers. So either 5 x TMC2209s/TMC2226s, 5 x TMC5160s, or 5 x TMC2130s depending on what you enable in Prusa_AIO_Configuration.h.

Open Prusa_AIO_Configuration.h and change the options for your specific Bear build. You don't need to edit any files outside of that since this firmware is specifically tailored to a Prusa Bear with supported upgrades listed in Prusa_AIO_Configuration.h.

Since #define PRUSA_AIO_MOTHERBOARD_BTT_SKR_V3_0_EZ is currently the default motherboard, you'd disable (comment out) that line & enable (uncomment) #define PRUSA_AIO_MOTHERBOARD_BTT_SKR_1_4.

I've added comments in each section explaining what they're for, but I can answer any other questions you may have.

OK I finally got my firmware to write but as soon as I use it by updating the back of my SKR 1.4 it no longer talks to my computer. Only thing I changed is I put in my board and TMC2209. If I flash with a basic 2.0.5 one I have I get me board back on my computer. As soon as I flash with the AIO setup and those 2 changes it wont talk to my computer anymore.

Please clarify. Do you mean it no longer communicates over USB (serial)? Is the board fully powered with 12/24V? Which software are you using to connect to the board?

Yes so I am running a SKR 1.4 with 2209’s. when I change those 2 things as I think everything else should be good it makes the Firmwear.bin file.
Powering off USB as I have already installed it on my printer and had to remove it. As soon as I put in the AIO build it is no longer seen by my computer.
I format the SD card again and put the stock 2.0.5 marlin build I have on the SD and flash and the board pops back to being seen on my computer.

Which software are you using to connect to the board?

Even when powered by 24V it does not communicate over USB. All drivers are installed as my 1.4turbo with my old Marlin I wrote a year ago communicates. Pronterface and Device manager in windows does not see it when flashed with AIO

Ok ignore my ignorance. I read everything wrong. I was changing stuff in the Config.H not the Prusa AIO one. Ugh. Now to get it installed. Again sorry about that. Still a rookie here.
