I think we should Decouple the repos

  • we should create separate repo for each programmes
  • we should rename the document structure as:
    • Coursecode_SubjectShortname_Authername
    • Eg: CMP212_JAVA_MadanKadariya.pdf
    • Note: no space between CMP and 212, Coursename in BLOCK Letter
  • we need moderator from each department
  • we should create submodule here so that one doesn't need to clone whole repo
  • in case there is handwritten notes then it's name should be
    • CMP212_JAVA_Authorname_Handwritten.pdf

Merits

  • no need to clone whole repo ie. easy to download documents
  • easy to manage
  • easy to search course
  • easy to solve conflicts

Demerits

  • possibility for dublication
  • one repo might be full of resources while other might not

Thank you

I guess while searching for notes, we look for subject names instead of Subject code so Isn't it unnecessary to include Course Code as it only complicates readability?
