I have a weird terraform setup where I have terraformed code at the root directly but symlinked to subdirectories where the commands are run from. If I try to use terraform-docs from the root level then it can't read the lockfile as it is in a subdirectory.
How could terraform-docs help solve your problem?
It would be nice if there was an option that allow to specify a path to the .terraform-lock.hcl instead of it being hardcoded. I'm happy to work on this.
