Packages must be active, well-known projects
Software available in major Linux distributions has more chances to be included into Termux repositories. We will not accept outdated, dead projects as well as projects which do not have active community.

Packages that do not comply with this policy may be requested in User Repository: https://github.com/termux-user-repository/tur

This seems like a useful tool to have, for when sixel support (termux/termux-app#2973) is merged

tur isn't affiliated with termux

It should not be affiliated. TUR is a community-managed place for packages of all kinds. This repository is not obligated to follow packaging policy or https://wiki.termux.com/wiki/Hacking. We would not like to manage their pull requests, issue tickets, etc. Let community do everything on its own.

We would not suggest TUR or apply "packaging policies" to package requests once there would be a balance between our team possibilities and demand from community. Currently there no balance: just look at the backlog of the package requests.

Regarding the pic though I agree that we should add to our official repo.
