tailscale client do not output link to terminal on Ubuntu

What is the issue?

On Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04 when the command is issued with tailscale up there is no output to the standard output

Here are a few examples:

Looks like the system just hands but it waits for the browser to confirm the login and tailscale status will reveal a link

Another new symptom is docker engine needs to be restarted every time the VPN is established. This is new as in the past this was not a problem.

Have ubuntu desktop, install tailslcale
