When using the tabler-icons icon font in link

How to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behaviour:
Include the tabler-icons icon font in your file
Add the following HTML:

<div class="input-group input-group-flat">
  <input type="password" class="form-control">
  <span class="input-group-text">
    <a href="#" class="link-secondary">
      <i class="icon ti ti-eye"></i>
    </a>
  </span>
</div>

An artifact appears on hover
